Occasion – Dad wanted to have a dinner party – reciprocity for being so well hosted by so many around the table… he has not been able to host his own dinners for a few years (which you may or may not know was something he did spectacularly well – he was a great cook and loved to entertain) because his eyesight has failed him. But with our new big table and big house it was easy for George and me to host a party for him. So that was the occasion.

I think the lobster meat was distributed through the paella but the body was later turned into bisque.
